Saturday: 3:00p to 12:00a

Sunday: 3:00p to 12:00a

Monday: 3:00p to 12:00a

Tuesday: 3:00p to 12:00a

Associate Meeting every other Wednesday: 9:00a to 12:00p



Under the direction of the Residence Coordinator, Relief Coordinator, or Senior Program Coordinator this position is responsible for maintaining an environment in the program which encourages and facilitates optimal personal development and provides person directed services and ensures the health and safety of the individuals served.



  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR/First Aid/AED and SCIP Certification within the first three months of hire.
  • This person must possess a valid NYS driver's license and maintain a safe driving record per agency policy. Additionally, this person must maintain up to date insurance and provide proof thereof, as they may be required to transport people that are served by the agency in their personal vehicle.
  • Associates must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience working with IDD populations
  • Associates will only be allowed to "job shadow" at West Street, prior to completion of the following:
    • Justice Center Criminal Background Check (fingerprinting)
    • Mental Hygiene Law check
    • Child Abuse Check through OCFS
  • Associates must be certified in Core, Specialized, and Advanced SCIP maneuvers within 2 months of hire.
  • Associates must obtain Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire.
