SCHEDULE: Schedule will vary. Primarily M-F. Evenings and weekends will be required   

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Senior Program Coordinator, the Behavioral Support Coordinator assists with deploying behavior support and contract services. This position's primary responsibility is to provide Behavioral Intervention Services to community members with developmental disabilities, as well as providing support and guidance to Community Supports staff through service provision and training. The Behavior Support Coordinator conducts environmental assessments, assesses situational crises, and develops recommendations and support plans that include positive and person-centered methods. This position also provides direct support services to people we support.



    • Associate's Degree in clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or special education.
    • At least one year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental or other disabilities including the devising, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans or experience in providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans
  • Possess a valid driver's license for the state in which the person resides and maintain a safe driving record per agency policy
